The Redemptive Call Inc. is a not-for-profit sport-based youth development program that leverages motivation and achievement in sport to teach life skills and character to urban youth in order to foster positive physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and moral development. It is designed to combat gang affiliations, destructive behaviors, and academic failures by offering positive, life-changing alternatives and mentoring.

Our mission is to produce healthy, responsible, and caring young people who will obtain the tools necessary to be good, productive citizens through commitment, responsibility, leadership, and support.

What We Do

We use Don Hellison's Teaching Personal and Social Responsibility Model

  • Effort - tries new things, doesn't give up

  • Indoor/Outdoor activities - various sports, teambuilding games
  • Field Trips - exposure to art, culture, higher education, and outdoor adventure to expand their minds
